Qingdao Lianxin's QDB catalyst was successfully used in the conversion system of the 2 billion/a coal-to-gas unit in Yili Xintian in the early morning of March 12, 2017. At 100% load, the activity and resistance drop indicators fully met the design requirements.
During the catalyst sulfidation and gasification process, Qingdao Lianxin's technical service personnel insisted on staying on site 24 hours a day, working closely with the manufacturer's operators, and decisively handling to ensure the smooth completion of the catalyst sulfidation and gasification work. The gasification was successful once, and the manufacturer gave a high evaluation.
Yili Xintian is currently the largest coal-to-gas unit in China. The successful application of QDB catalyst in this plant marks a new step for our company in the field of coal-to-gasification.
