Henan Kaixiang Chemical Co., Ltd. is the first manufacturer in China to use the "Shell" pulverized coal gasification low water/gas sulfur-tolerant conversion process developed by our company for methanol production. All conversion sections use QDB series catalysts; the unit runs smoothly and the conversion section Without adding steam or adding only a small amount of steam, it can meet the requirements for producing methanol synthesis gas. Compared with the higher water/gas conversion process, it can save at least 17.5 tons/h of steam. Its successful start-up has created a low water/gas sulfur tolerance in pulverized coal gasification. The shift process is the first in the world to be used in methanol production, filling the international gap in using QDB catalyst to produce methanol under high CO content raw gas-low water/gas shift process conditions. The application has proved that the conversion device operates smoothly and has significant energy saving effect. It is a very ideal process for producing methanol synthesis gas from high-concentration CO raw gas.
